Support Carmi Reboh’s Bat Mitzvah Project for Healing in Israel

As part of her Bat Mitzvah celebration, Carmi Reboh has chosen to support a meaningful initiative through the Israel Magen Fund of Canada. Inspired by Jewish values and a deep sense of compassion, Carmi is inviting friends and family to join her in raising funds for the Ashdod Rehabilitation and Therapy Centre in Israel—a place of healing, hope, and strength.

As part of my Bat Mitzvah journey, I have teamed up with Israel Magen Fund of Canada for my bat mitzvah project. This is my first chance to put the core values of Tzedakah (giving to charity) and Tikkun Olam (making the world a better place) into action, which I have learned a lot from my parents, teachers, and bat mitzvah lessons.

The Ashdod Rehabilitation and Therapy Centre is a special project to me because helping others is one of my personal core values; a place where children with cancer or disabilities and victims of post-traumatic stress disorder are cared for through programs that help make their journey a little easier.

Please join me in helping a much-needed rehabilitation center for Israelis to heal, strengthen and continue to do amazing things.

Advancing Healthcare: New Rehab Center in Israel's South

The Ashdod Rehabilitation & Therapy Centre Project

Ashdod Rehabilitation & Therapy Centre

Bringing Vital Care to Southern Israel

The Ashdod Centre will deliver vital rehab care to southern Israel’s most vulnerable patients.

The Ashdod Rehabilitation & Therapy Centre is set to become a vital resource for southern Israel, providing critical medical and rehabilitative care to trauma victims, children with disabilities, and pediatric cancer patients.

Southern Israel faces a severe shortage of rehabilitation services, a situation made worse by the October 7 war. Nearly 30% of wounded patients and the majority of war victims are from the south, putting immense pressure on an already strained healthcare system. With only 11 rehabilitation centres in the region compared to 43 in central Israel, wait times can exceed a year. Children with disabilities and cancer patients are often forced to travel long distances to receive the care they need.

The Ashdod Rehabilitation & Therapy Centre aims to address these urgent challenges by offering timely, accessible, and high-quality treatment close to home. The facility will include rehabilitation clinics, a hydrotherapy pool, modern medical equipment, daycare services, and educational spaces.

Your donation will help fund vital services for patients and families once the Rehab Centre is complete.
