About Us

The Israel Magen Fund of Canada (IMFoC.org), a Canadian registered charity, is led by an experienced, skilled, and dedicated Board of Directors and staff. Following October 7, 2023, IMFoC has mobilized to support vital search and rescue efforts, mental and physical health, and social services for impacted communities in Israel.

Our mission is to identify and support qualified institutions in Israel that require search and rescue, mental health treatment, medical equipment, and social services for the community.

With a strong commitment to internal operation efficiency, the vast majority of funds we raise are sent directly to our projects, ensuring that your contributions have a meaningful and immediate impact on the lives of those we serve.

To uphold our dedication to transparency, third-party audited financial statements are available upon request. These statements provide accountability for the use of your donations and demonstrate our commitment to responsible stewardship of your contributions.

Your continued support is not only valuable but transformative. Through your generosity, we can make a significant and lasting difference. Together, we are building a brighter future for Israelis. We are deeply grateful for your partnership in this mission.

Our Commitment to Efficiency

At the Israel Magen Fund of Canada, we understand the importance of seeing your generosity make a tangible difference. That’s why we are committed to running a lean and efficient operation, making sure your support reaches those who need it most.

We keep our team small and virtual, which reduces overhead and allows more funds to go directly into life-saving projects. Most of our communication is digital, saving on printing and shipping costs. When we do send printed materials for special campaigns, as we do only a few times a year, they are donated to us, leaving only the cost of postage to cover. Our goal is to achieve zero printing costs, and with your help, we’re making progress.

Even our advertising is only possible with the support of donors. Every campaign strategy and piece of communication is created in-house, allowing us to avoid agency fees and keep expenses low.

Because of this commitment to efficiency, your donations go further, enabling us to transform more lives and communities in Israel. Together, we make every dollar count.
