Support Ziv Medical Centre in Tsfat Amidst Rising Tensions

Ziv Medical Centre in Tsfat has partnered with the Israel Magen Fund of Canada to raise funds for its Neuro and Thoracic Surgery Departments.

As tensions escalate on the Lebanon border, it is imperative that we ensure that the local healthcare facilities (in the Golan area of Israel) are equipped to handle any potential influx of casualties.

Ziv Medical Centre in Tsfat, recently designated as a Level 1 Trauma Centre by the Israeli Government, plays a pivotal role in providing critical care during times of crisis.

The recently added Neuro and Thoracic Surgery Departments at Ziv Medical Centre are vital components of its trauma response capabilities. However, they are in urgent need of upgraded equipment to treat injuries resulting from conflicts or emergencies. With the looming possibility of escalating tensions, the need for preparedness at this Hospital has never been more crucial.

A Toronto philanthropist has pledged US$1,000,000 towards enhancing these departments, but we need to add to this pledge with another $1,000,000 (or more) in donations. In addition, 45% of every dollar contributed will be matched by the Israeli government, effectively more than doubling the impact of our support.
