A not-so-small act of kindness

While we enjoy Shabbat with our families, they are outside, defending our borders in all weather conditions and ensuring our safety.

As we directly confront the challenges of war, our soldiers are always in our thoughts. While we enjoy Shabbat with our families, they are outside, defending our borders in all weather conditions and ensuring our safety.

In the crucial hours before Shabbat, our drivers made their way to the Gaza Envelope to deliver hot water urns, allowing our soldiers to experience a taste of home during Shabbat. Thanks to your generous contributions, we could warm our soldiers as they braced for a cold winter Shabbat.

Providing hot water on these chilly winter Friday nights does more than offer physical warmth; it reassures our soldiers that those of us on the home front remember and appreciate them. What might seem like a small gesture to us—a hot water urn—is a significant reminder to our soldiers of the reasons and people they are fighting for.

As winter gives way to spring, yet the conflict persists, our soldiers will carry forward the memory of these acts of kindness, made possible through your generous support.
